Bishop Girls Soccer Fights Hard in the South High Tournament

The smell of fresh cut grass, white lined fields, the cheer of the crowds and the enormity of different colors and schools lined the South High tournament. On Friday, December 9, and Saturday, December 10, the Lady Broncos played in Bakersfield’s South High Tournament.  The Broncos opened play against, South High, Stockdale, and Foothill.

The ladies were ready to put a fighting chance for glory.  The Bronco girls soccer team had fought a tough game on Friday against South, the match ending with a score of 1-0. The team’s effort was outstanding and each player fought with their entire effort, they are looking forward to improve their skills for the next game.

The Broncos also played against Stockdale, throughout the entire game, the team played as a whole, but lost with a score of 3-0.

The Broncos also played against Foothill, that match ending with a tie of 1-1.
Over all in this tournament, every school that the girls soccer team went up against turned out to be one difficult game. Every game in this tournament was exciting as both teams played their hardest. The girls soccer team is looking forward to more victories throughout the season.
