The Bishop Bronco Varsity Softball team played on May 18 against the Dos Palos in the second round of CIF Central Section. The Bishop Broncos were trying to catch up to Dos Palos but they still ended up losing the game 8-2 knocking them out of the running. Junior Baileigh Momberg was pitching all of the 7 innings which she gave up 8 runs on 5 hits, 1 walk and 1 hit pitch which earned them 3 runs. Offensively Liv Ellis got 1 hit, Kristen Sorenson got 1 walk in, Riley Van Nest got 1 hit, Kataya Fierro got on by a fielder’s choice and scored 1 run, and while Dani Garcia had 1 which was a double which scored a run for the Broncos.

Coaches Lisa and Mark Manuelito would like to thank the entire team for bearing with us during the season since there were a lot of unforeseen family circumstances. They had a great season and were very proud of what they accomplished.

They would like to recognize our seniors Liv Ellis, Hope McKee, Jayda Jackson, Deborah Fallingstar, and Madi Torres since they are going to be missed by everyone in the team.
