Due to the potential for dangerously high river water flows from snowmelt runoff, the 9th Annual Owens River Clean Up is being postponed to Saturday, November 4, 2023. Your safety is the utmost priority. See you the first Saturday of November at the Pleasant Valley Campground.Water flows and air temps the start of November should be perfect for a weekend of cleaning up the river, and recreating in Bishop. Coffee and baked goods will be offered to all Volunteers. Volunteers will be treated to Lunch at noon after a morning of work. If you have nothing to do and want to spend time in the outdoors come and help your community on Earth Day and make the world a cleaner place.
