Bishop Lady Broncos Defeat the Wolfpack

On Thursday February 16 the Bishop Lady Broncos hosted the Ridgeview Wolfpack in the first round of CIF playoffs for the Central District 4 division. In the first half of the game the Wolfpack scored the first goal while both teams were battling it out that entire half. The end of the first half was a score of 0-1 in favor of the Wolfpack.

Bishop Lady Broncos made some adjustments and came out swinging in the second half scoring three unanswered goals. With about six minutes left of the game the Wolfpack scored their second goal. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Broncos. The Bishop Lady Broncos will move to the CIF quarterfinals and host the Yosemite Badgers on Friday, February 17 at the John Swab Field. The game will start at 6 o’clock.

Coach Bill Dailey stated that “the Wolfpack players were the fastest players that the Lady Broncos had to face this season”. Coach Dailey wants to thank the Wolfpack for their great sportsmanship and a very fun game to coach and watch.

Coach Dailey and the Lady Broncos hope to see a large turn out tomorrow to support your team as they make a run for the championships.
