Bishop Union Takes on the Rosamound Roadrunners

On Friday October 14th, 2016, the Bishop Broncos faced the Roadrunners in a high intensity game, both teams played hard to the point where injuries were flying. The crowd cheered and the, the aroma of pizza filled the air around the snack shack. Cheerleaders spread school spirit, and the Mascots highfived the local children. The experience at the game was fantastic, sitting on the sideline of the game with a camera with footballs flying toward the line and players sprinting down for a touch down.

In the first quater of the game the broncos and roadrunners played clean for the most part, but as the time kept ticking and the broncos were racking points, the roadrunners started with the dirty plays, punching, pinching,  helmet pulling, resulted in some injuries on the Broncos’ side. After this game Mike Molina was chosen as a nominee for the Central Valley’s Defensive player of the Week.

People in the game for the broncos that had great plays and fought on against the Roadrunners were, Ryan Graves, Noah Martinez, Hunter Wassdorp, and Sean Brown.

The Broncos won 42-7, and are getting ready to take on Desert for the Homecoming Game on October 21st, at 7:00. Jv will be at 4:00
