Bronco Boys Come Up Short in Firebaugh

The Broncos made the long drive to Firebaugh in hopes of continuing on in the playoffs and potentially earning another home playoff game. The boys put up a good fight in the game, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. The boys battled hard all game and managed to keep it close throughout the first half, but by the time the third quarter rolled around, the game started to slip away from the Broncos. The boys ended up losing the game by a final score of 62-46. The team finished with a final overall record of 12-13 and a league record of 8-4.

The team will lose seniors Landon Harper, Cal Omohundro, Luis Esparza, and Edwin Diaz next season, as their high school careers have come to an unfortunate close. With our winter sports now winding down, the Bronco Roundup staff will be here to bring you coverage of all our spring sports as the school year gets closer to an end.
