Bishop Comes Out On Top of Boron After Strong Second Half

The Broncos came into last night’s game looking to rebound after their loss to Cal City last week with a win over the Boron Bobcats, and they sure delivered. The boys came out playing well in the first and second quarters of the game, taking a 28-19 lead into the second half. When the Broncos came out in the third quarter they really started to hit their stride, increasing their lead, in large part thanks to the performance Landon Harper put on. The fourth quarter was absolutely dominated by the Broncos and the on-fire Harper, leading the boys to a 68-38 win.

Thanks to Harper’s stellar second half, he was awarded the Denny’s Bronco Slam Player of the Game, a title Cal Omohundro won the previous 3 games. The Broncos only have 2 regular season games remaining, the next being on the road against the rival Kern Valley Broncs.
