Girls Soccer Broncos vs Ravens
The Girls Varsity soccer team is still currently undefeated in league. Yesterday they beat the Cal City Ravens 6 to 0 in Cal City furthering their win streak.
The first score of the game came from Bishop Bronco Gisell Mora in the 8th minute of play from just outside the goal box. In the 26th minute, Danica Thornburg had a brake away to score the Bronco’s second goal. In the 29th minute, Gisell Mora scored again with an assist from Dulcinea Vasquez giving the Broncos a 3-0 lead going into halftime.
In the 9th minute of the second half, Jordan Winzenread scored off an assist from Danica Thornburg. A minute later, in the 10th minute of the second half, Dani Santana scored on a loose ball in front of the Ravens goal. In the 57th minute of the game, Dani Santana scored the final goal of the game giving the Bishop Broncos the 6-0 win.
Next Monday Jan 28 at 3:00pm Bishop will be facing Rosamond here at home. It is predicted to be a good challenging game so be sure to come out and cheer them on.
