Michael James Kubiak, or “Kube”, is one of the most well known and loved personalities here on campus, in addition to being one of the most phenomenal athletes the school has seen. A bright spot of the class of 2019 on the baseball diamond, in the classroom, and on the campus in general, Kube is beyond ready for what comes after high school and feels prepared for college, but fears running out of money while in school. He is looking forward to playing his last baseball season as a Bronco and feels confident that he and the team will have a good season.

Kube plans to move to New Jersey to attend New Jersey Institute of Technology while continuing his baseball career and playing ping pong in his free time. He says that he’s excited about leaving BUHS and moving, but he will miss the friends he will leave behind. While at NJIT Kube plans to be a business major, but hopes to one day play for his favorite team, the New York Yankees. In 10 years Kube hopes to be playing for the Yankees or being in a high-level business management position. Kube may not care what other people will think of him when he’s gone, but his friends and those closest to him will remember him for his one-of-a-kind personality and sense of humor. Everyone that knows Kube is gonna miss him a lot next year, but they also know that he’s gonna have a helluva lot of fun playing in pinstripes one day.
