Bishop Union Bronco Football Weight Lifting Has Begun
Bishop Bronco Football off-season weight lifting has already begun, this year the Bishop coaches have put together teams of about 6 players, and each team has a goal of achieving the best attendance and the team with the best attendance wins new cleats for this upcoming season.
Weight room dates and times are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and the times are 6:00, 6:30, and after school. The whole purpose of off season weight lifting is to get this years football players ready for this upcoming season and the players will be focusing on doing a full body workout to get stronger, faster, and prevent injuries.
The football staff remains in place from previous years with Varsity head coach is Arnie Palu and the Junior Varsity head coach is Richard Miears.
