Science and space

Are you interested in science or space? Then this is a great opportunity for you to go to a virtual classroom. The virtual classroom is basically a face time where you can ask questions about science behind space. And you will have have a rare opportunity to learn about space from a young astrobiologist named Brendan Mullan. He just finished getting his PHD and is a professor at a university. He recently won a FameLab Award, Famelab is a competition to find the best new science communicators. The whole thing is sponsored by National Geographic. This is a fun and unique way to learn more about space, and what might be living out there.

The virtual classroom is going to be held this Friday, November 30th, from 10:00-11:00am in the Carl Lind Board Room. If you want to participate in this event you need to get a permission slip from Ms. Devine in the BSC. You will be missing 3rd period for this event and will need to have the permission slip signed by the teacher in order to go.
