Broncos Come Out on Top in Close Game Against the Aztecs
Thursday the Broncos played the Aztecs in the first round of their 2018 playoff season. Bishop wasn’t ready to end their season just yet and swept Mendota in three straight sets. They started their first set off strong but ended up giving Mendota a chance to come back. Bishop took the first set 25-22. The second set was better for the Broncos and they ended the set 25-19. In the third set Mendota had a lead over Bishop for most of the game but with kills by Haven Del Giudice they ended up tying the game and taking this final set 25-21.
Bishops continuing their playoff season with a game Tuesday the 30th at 6pm against Mira Monte. Mira Monte is seeded 1rst in Central Section Division 4 but the Bronco girls have hope and heart that they can take this quarter final game and send themselves into the semi finals.
