Bronco Health Clinic

Bronco Health Clinic is now offered to our campus at Bishop Union High School. Open every Tuesday in the health office in the basement from 8:30 am to 3:45 pm with a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Colleen McEvoy. The Bronco Health Clinic Is completely free of cost and confidential.

 

Services provided:

  • Acute visits for minor illness and injuries
  • Initial treatment for acute asthma attacks       
  • Acne treatment
  • Treatment for depression, anxiety and substance abuse
  • Reproductive health services including birth control and STD testing and treatment
  • Over-the-counter medication for pain and allergies
  • Referrals to Community Agencies
  • Health Education   

 

Parents do not need to be present and health insurance is not taken, there is no cost to the patient. Colleen McEvoy is apart of the Northern Inyo Healthcare District and is working with Bishop Unified School District to decrease student absence, increase access to health care, promote youth health responsibility, and to help parents stay at work.  All students are welcome to come and seek medical attention on Tuesday.
