Interview with New Teacher Mrs. Honrath

Suzanne Honrath, otherwise known as Mrs. Honrath started her new teaching job for BUHS on August 16th 2018. Mrs. Honrath made a big decision when she decided to leave her teaching job at Santiago High School in Garden Grove, and move to Bishop to teach at Bishop Union High School.

At her previous school she used to teach English for seniors, so it was a big change when she started teaching freshmen. Even though that was not an easy transition, Mrs. Honrath has been enjoying her new students and small classes, stating  “ I can spend more time helping out more students individually”

Mrs. Honrath stated that she wanted to move to bishop because “I used to spend my summers with my grandparents up here when they worked for the forestry service and I have wanted to move here ever since.” Mrs. Honrath is also fond of the fact that her classes are much smaller than her previous one, stating that “ I can spend more time helping out more students individually” She has so far been enjoying her beginning here at Bishop saying that “Everyone has been super helpful and nice.”
