Broncos are on their way to the Championship

A 12-run Bronco 3rd inning took the drama out of Tuesday’s CIF Semifinal game.  Bishop Union put together a two out rally in the 1st inning jumping on top 2-0 before exploding for 12 runs in the 3rd.  The third inning scoring explosion included a grand slam for Junior Shortstop Michael Kubiak.  Bishop now advances to the CIF central section Division 6 finals.  The championship game will be played in Visalia at Rawhide Stadium.

The 2018 team is hoping to join the 1969 Broncos as CIF Champions.  The 1969 team defeated Harvard High School 9-1 claiming the CIF Southern Section title.

Saturday’s final is set for a 4:30 first pitch and will be broadcast live on the NFHS network.
