With Bronco Golf’s CIF championship win and Bronco Baseball in the semi-finals this week, it should come as no shock that Bishop Union High School has earned yet another athletic achievement. Recently, senior Kristen Lamb was awarded the CIF Central Section Scholar Athlete Award, which is awarded to one male and one female from each of the 10 CIF Sections. Each Scholar Athlete, along with their recognition, receives a 1,000 dollar reward for all their hard work in both athletics and academics!

Each athlete’s application is evaluated by the CIF State Committee to determine the winner for each section. Out of approximately 20 applicants, Kristen was chosen to represent the Section for the award. Congrats, Kristen!
