On March 23rd, Bishop Union High School’s ASB put on the town’s hottest egg hunt of the season: the Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. Hundreds of community members and their families gathered at the school with their nighttime gear to take on the big adventure on the front lawn.

The smaller children, those ages 4 to 12, had their own smaller egg hunt before the bigger one began. There, they were able to greet the cuddly Easter Bunny while brandishing their overflowing easter egg baskets.

As the clock stuck 8:15 for the big hunt, hopeful hunters searched far and wide, with only their flashlights to aid them, for the candy hidden in a plethora of colorful plastic eggs. But, only the most clever hunters would snatch up the golden eggs, which held gift cards for local businesses such as Looney Bean and Spellbinder Books. All the prizes were eventually claimed, showing that only the best-of-the-best egg hunters were present that day.

The Egg Hunt was a great success: ASB raised 630+ dollars in ticket sales from over a hundred participants that night! Members from the community spread their positivity about ASB’s fantastic event.
