BUHS vs Lone Pine Baseball

Bishop Broncos played the Lone Pine Eagles in Bishop. As this was a big rivalry game both teams were looking to steal a victory from each other. The Broncos however were not messing around as they scored 4 runs in the first inning off of the Lone Pine Pitcher. Lone Pine was held scoreless by Junior Matthew Rosga in the first inning. Then after 2 unearned runs in the 2nd inning the Eagles cut the lead in half. Then after another run in the 4th the Eagles were in striking distance at 3 – 4. But then after the bats went quite the flood gates opened as they scored 3 in the 5th and then 6 in the 6th as the Broncos 10 runned the Eagles with a final score of 13-3.

MVP of the Game: Jalen Watterson 2-4 with two R.B.I.s and walked 2 times while scoring twice
