Bronco Football Awards Recap

On Saturday, January 13, was the Bronco Football team’s award banquet which was in the words of Coach Beall, “very successful.” At the Ceremony the season highlights of both the jv and varsity were shown before the awards for that team were presented.

At the jv level:
The Pinky Alsup spirit award went to Thos del Giudice
The most improved award went to Daniel Mayhugh
The offensive player of the year went to Joe Weaver
The defensive player of the year went to Darren Dondero
The Most Valuable player went to Clay Omohundro

At the Varsity level:
The Sue Spry Spirit award went to Brady Womack
The most improved went to Kade Edmiston
The Offensive player of the year went to Luke Mcclean
The Defensive Player of the year went to Wes Pettett

This year the MVP award went to Mike Molina which means he has received MVP two years in a row. Mike Molina was worthy of this reward twice because he was one of the few who not only has great natural talent, but an outstanding work ethic. He played with a full heart of passion and love for the game and his teammates. Mike has been referred to by many of the coaches as “the heart and soul of the team.”
