Broncos Continue to Feel the Sting of Defeat

The Lady Broncos were unable to find a way out of the hole they’ve dug themselves into this season with their devastating loss against Desert on Friday. The Scorpions extended the Bronco’s losing streak to 5 games in a 64-23 defeat. Drew Dondero had 7 points on the day, Gracie Soto had 6 points, Lauren Allen had 4 points, and Manese Braithwaite had 3  points before leaving the game in the first half after injuring her hand.

The slump the girls have found themselves in is one that comes as quite a shock considering the new faces that were added to the team and their hot start to the season. Whatever the girls have been doing as of late obviously isn’t working and they are going to have to make some changes in their play if they want to catch up to the Roadrunners, who are now 3-0 in league play.

The girls will look to snap their 5 game losing streak as they take on the California City Ravens on the road tomorrow at 4:30, so wish them luck!
