Hunter Waasdorp is now entering his Senior year of high school and preparing for life away from home. A phenomenal football, basketball, baseball player and person, the man commonly known as “Waas” is preparing to leave his home town behind and head off to college. Hunter hopes to go to Northwest Lineman College in Ada County, Idaho to pursue a career as a lineman, as well as maybe pursuing athletics as well after a year or two of school.  Hunter said the he chose this career because he “has friends that are lineman so [he] figured [he] would give it a shot.” While Waasdorp is excited to begin this new chapter in his life, he says that he will miss most about Bishop are his family and the friends that he has made here. Waasdorp has said that although he feels prepared to take on this new challenge, his biggest fear is the uncertainty of what’s to come and being unsure of what he will do if he fails. However, for those that know Hunter best, there is no doubt in their minds that he will succeed in whatever he put his mind to.
