Broncos blowout the Ravens

The Bishop Broncos played the California City Ravens Friday in the high desert league action. The Broncos entered the game with a record of 4-4 and 1-1 in league and the Ravens entered at 4-4 and 0-1 in league.  Cal City was looking for their first league win as Bishop was looking to go above .500. But the league rivalry was just a blow out as the game ended 43-0 in favor of Bishop. The Broncos improved to 2-1 and the Ravens fell to  0-2 in league records.     

 

Mark Mayhugh was the MVP of the game, Mayhugh, the Junior had 4 tackles and 2 interceptions for a total of 70 yards and returned one of them for a touchdown.

Mike Molina was named offensive MVP with 13 carries for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Broncos defense played lights out.   Allowing a total of zero points in the win at Cal City. The defensive MVP was Junior Cal Omohundro, Cal had 4 total tackles 3 of which were tackles for losses.  

Junior Arturo Lemus was named special teams MVP for a quality night that included 2 punt returns for 65 yards and 1 touchdown.
