Coach Palu Statement on the upcoming Kennedy Football Game:

“Thank you for your support of Bronco Football.  2017 has been an exciting year and the best is yet to come.  There have been some questions about the Kennedy game this Friday so I wanted to pass along some information.

Recent league teams dropping to 8 man football created late season gaps in our schedule, when league play is underway.  Last year we were not able to fill the week 10 gap and played only 9 regular season games.  In the CIF Central Section your league ranking has zero impact on your playoff seeding.  Your team’s strength of schedule and total body of work are evaluated when the brackets are put together.

So when we had a chance to fill our week 10 gap with a trip to Kennedy, it was an easy decision. Now the game is a big one as RFK is in the same division CIF Central Section Division 5, and also battling for playoff positioning. The Broncos have the chance to do something that Bronco football has not done in awhile. If the Broncos come out on top they will have a good chance of hosting the first round of CIF playoffs.

The games are consistent with Central Section scheduling with the JV set to begin at 5pm and the varsity at 7:30. ”

With there not being any school on Friday Nov,3, we plan to see plenty of bishop high students there to support your broncos.
