If you have ever lost a friend, a loved one or you know someone who has lost someone to cancer be sure to participate in cancer awareness week which starts on Monday, Oct. 23-27. It is important to support those who are fighting cancer and to support those who have lost a loved one to cancer. You can be supportive by wearing the appropriate colors for each cancer, you can also come out and participate in the Luminary Walk on Saturday Oct. 28th. Another thing you can do to help is purchase cancer awareness bracelets in Mr. Rowan’s room for only 1 dollar starting next week on Monday. All money goes to the cancer fundraiser.

Monday: Acknowledging Melanoma & Brain Cancer – Wear Black & Grey

Tuesday, Acknowledging Leukemia, Child and Bone Cancers – Wear Orange, Gold or Yellow

Wednesday, Acknowledging Breast Cancer – Wear Pink

Thursday: Acknowledging Ovarian and Colon Cancers – Wear Blue

Friday: Acknowledging all cancers – Wear Tie Dye
