The Bishop Broncos hosted the Rosemond Roadrunners February 3rd. The Broncos pulled through with a hard-fought win ending in 5-4. The game stayed tight from start to finish. Armando Santana delivered a standout performance, netting three goals to earn Player of the Game. Charlie Trefry also found the back of the net and scored two goals and an assist. Despite dealing with key injuries, the Broncos showed resilience and heart.
“This was a tough game for us with injuries on the team,” said Coach Landaverde. “But the boys played strongly, competed the entire match, and never gave up.”
The victory keeps the Broncos perfect at 12–0 and in first place in league standings. The Broncos now turn their focus to Thursday, when they travel to face Desert. Just two games to go in the regular season with the trip to Desert followed by a trip to California City next Tuesday.
