Broncos Make Light Work of Mojave

Girls Soccer Team

Thursday December 11th, the Lady Broncos Soccer Team traveled to Mojave and won 14-0. Coach Spring Braaten indicates ten different players were able to find the back of the net and score. 

Dulce Martinez, Brooke Taylor, Presley Lyons, Payton Hohenstein, Ashley Sandoval, Taylor Derr, Maleah DeVincent, Tatum Derr, Willow Blanks, and Leah Taylor each had one goal. 

The win moves the Broncos to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in High Desert League play. 

Next up for the Broncos is a non-league game against Paraclete this Saturday at 10am at John Schwab field.

Jessica Santana is a senior at Bishop Union High School. After high school Jessica would like to go to Sacramento to attend Sacramento state. To pursue a career in criminal justice and hopefully play for their soccer team. Her favorite subject is bronco round up. My name is Alondra Lizarraga, I am a senior at Bishop Union High School. I came to Bishop during my freshman year of high school. I move houses and cities almost every 2 years but I think my parents have finally settled down here in Bishop. I am fluent in English and Spanish, although my favorite language is Spanish. I love dancing banda, cumbias, salsa and more. I started working at the age of 15, I worked Monday-Friday at Erick Schats Bakery and Saturdays at Denny’s. I love babies so I decided to be a postpartum nurse, where I get to work with newborn babies and their moms. I am going to Cal State San Bernardino next school year, I am hoping to get my BSN degree to be able to have my dream job.
