The Buhs Girls Tennis team had traveled to the Edwards Air Force base for their game against the Desert Scorpions with a ending score of 6-3 with Bishop taking the win. The game took place on Thursday Oct.2 at the Edwards Air Force Base to play the Desert Scorpions. This game consisted of doubles and singles with Azul Aranzubia and Lila Santana, Sofie Ablanedo and Xochitl Lopez, and Tatum Swanson and Leah Morrison for double teams. As for singles,  Xitlaly Solorio, Avery Mcgraw, Siena Pope, Amelia Winter, Lola Mullner, and Kinlei Romero played for the single plays.

Starting with double teams, Azul and Lila won a point with a score of 6-1 and 6-4 . Sofie and Xochitl played the #1’s and lost with scores of 4-6 and 2-6. Joining their defeat was Tatum and Leah who had lost with a score of 3-6 and 3-6. As for singles, they carried with 5 points being won with 3 of the 5 being earned with tie breaks. Xitlaly won her first set with as 7-5 and tied her second set with a 6-6. Avery won straight sets with scores of 6-1 an d 6-0 with Sienna scoring 3-7 and  7-5 which lead into a 10 point tie break with she won with a score of 10-5. Amelia won an easy point with scores of 6-2 and 6-2. Lola followed behind her with a 6-3 score and tied with 6-6, and then won her 7 point tie break with a 7-5. Kinlei had lost straight sets with scores of 2-6 and 3-6 which had concluded the game with the 6-3 final score.
