Who are these girls and where did they come from? A duo who is dominating the softball game who you might have noticed perhaps. What is the story behind these two amazing athletes? Many may wonder how they got here or why they moved here. Some just simply want to know how are they doing here.

Shawnau is a 15 year old Sophomore who was born in Central City, Nebraska. She has gone to three various schools before coming to Bishop Union High School. Shawnau is also a very busy person who never has time for anything but sports and school. She is very committed to all sports she plays putting in extra practice whenever she has any free time in her hands. Shawanus social life is very hectic not only does school and sports take up her time in the day but time with friends and family it can be slightly hard to manage with such a busy schedule. Shawnau has a dog Kita who she loves and cares for when she is home and not in Lone Pine with her mother. Her mom is big on softball and explains why her sister is a out of hand crazy good pitcher.

Chaynau is a 16 year old Junior who was also born in Central City, Nebraska. She has been to three various schools as well before coming to Bishop Union High School. Both of these girls are taking over the sports game. Chaynau plays travel softball and has received various letters from various D2 colleges and one from a D1 college. She plays three sports a year but her main focus is softball. Their loving mom supports both of them with any softball related events. Shawnau is her sister’s own catcher, talk about a close duo. Shawnau has a big passion for volleyball and basketball. Two sports she is very committed to when softball is not in season. She plays club volleyball which consist of may tournaments but thanks to her loving father she is able to travel to each one. Both these girls are not always about sports, 5 percent of the time they love to just get rest and relax which isn’t an option most of the time. Both spend a lot of time together with all the practicing and hard work put in. These are girls are the Nebraska girls!!
