BUHS Girls Soccer won their first victory in CIF against Kennedy High, ending with a winning score of 2-1. The team worked extremely hard and it all payed off as they won the first round of CIF. The entire team achieved this accomplishment together and they’re hoping to win against their next opponents, the Tigers of Woodlake High.

In the first half of the game, both Broncos and Kennedy High seemed off their game at first, as the scoreboard remained 0-0 until the second half. However, both teams were playing fair and clean as there were no penalties called in the duration of the first half.

In the second half of the game, tension rose as Broncos took the lead, with the first goal made by Kori Boxley, leaving the crowd in awe. As the clock kept ticking, and both teams were playing at their best for the last few moments of the game, Emelli Mora took everyone by surprise and scored the second goal for the Lady Broncos, eventually ending the game.

Both teams had an outstanding effort throughout the game, and we wish Lady Broncos good luck at their next playoff game! Congratulations!
