ASB Report: January/February 2017

Paige Lary

There were some highs and lows in January with ASB’s productions – Man of the Year was a terrific hit but, unfortunately, the Sadie Hawkins dance was canceled. Meanwhile, ASB has begun working on the spring Talent Show and throwing an amazing prom.

Any questions, comments, or suggestions for what you would like to see at your school? Post in the comment section below the report and ASB will discuss what you have to say at their next meeting.

Past Events:

  • February’s Man of the Year was a success! All of the participants did phenomenal, putting on a great show, and Kai Castilla took home the title “Man of the Year.” Not to mention some fantastic MC’s who brought down the house. This year, the junior class made $463 from ticket and baked good sales at Man of the Year. Special thanks to contestants, judges, MCs, Looney Bean, Theater Club, and everyone involved in getting the show up and running!
  • ASB is still selling tshirts ($8) and bleacher seats ($40). Get them before they’re sold out!

Upcoming Events:

  • Bronco Pride night will be held on Wednesday, March 29th.
  • The annual Talent Show will be held on May 17 from 6-8 pm in the auditorium, more information to come!
  • Prom is go’n on! As usual, prom will be from 8-12 pm in the Home Ec building at the Fairgrounds. Prom is scheduled for Saturday, May 13th.
