Bishop Lady Broncos soccer team played their 12th game of the season against the Rosamond Roadrunners in Bishop on January 23. Today Bishop Lady Broncos has scored 86 goals and allowed 2 goals.
Coach Bill Dailey reports that Bishop Lady Broncos started off slowly scoring the 1st goal around the 18th minute of the game. Ellie Crall led the team with 3 goals and 1 assist. Jillian Veenker had 2 goals and 1 assist, Brooklyn Braaten ad 1 goal 2 assists, Alyssa Buchholz had 1 goal 1 assist, Jaden Davis had 1 goal and Madyn Weller had 1 assist.
The Rosamond Roadrunners came out strong in the first half. At the end of the first half the score was 3-0 in favor of the Broncos. In the second half the Lady Broncos outscored the Roadrunners 5-1, allowing only the 2 goal of the season to find the Back of the Bishop Broncos net.
Coach Bill Dailey thanks the Roadrunners for the great sportsmanship and fun play. On Thursday the Lady Broncos will travel to face the Desert Scorpions in their second meeting of the season.
The Lady Broncos prepare for the CIF Central Section play offs. The dates for the playoff games are schedules for February 13, 15, 20, 23 or 24. It is not determined yet where the Lady Broncos will play.
