You may have known John Miller, and if you had, you will always remember him as the happiest, friendliest, and most loving person you’ve ever met. Wherever John went, he would bring his contagious laughter and happiness along with him. Never in my life have I met someone who could be so loving of others, and be so loved by many. John enjoyed many things such as dub-step, making others laugh, church, dancing, and his friends and family. He will be missed greatly. Rest in peace John; heaven gained a great one.

Some other words about John:
1st Presbyterian church  youth group post: “In the words of our wonderful former Youth Leaders Matthew Fisher & Robin Slee Fisher, ‘”John John, was such a light to all he came in contact with. He change the views of all around him. He tore down stereotypes and stomped them out with his personality. The world is a better place because God gave him to us for this too short of time.'”

Hannah Goede: “John was the one person who could bring all of Bishop High together. Everyone here loved John John and he loved all of us. He will always be remembered as BUHS’s greatest friend. Thank you John.”

Jeniffer Velazquez: “There have been times where I felt like I would look in the mirror and not liked what I saw. I came to school on one of those days, and as I was walking up the ramps, I saw John. He smiled at me, and told me I looked really pretty. I didn’t appreciate it much then, but I definitely hold it close to my heart now, because that was the last time I had talked to John before he moved. He was such a positive boy, and he was truly the one who brought everyone in this school together. He was a friend, and he gave us hope.”

Arnie Palu: “John John is the type of person you never forget.  I will always remember the first time I met him and the amazing way he lived life.  I’m a better person for knowing John John. He touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.  I learned so much from him. I will always treasure our time together and I will try my best to live like he did, with a huge love of life and positive outlook.”

Kiara Cox: “I’ve known John since I came to school in Bishop in 4th grade. All through elementary, middle, and high school he has shown so much positivity, love, and laughter not only to me, but to everybody around him. John was the guy that always gave you a hug and a smile when you needed one, and I will miss his infectious laugh bellowing down the hallways. Rest easy my friend, thankful to have met such a friendly soul.”

Service for John is Saturday, 10 AM at the Nazarene Church. On Monday night (12/19) at 5:30 there will also be a memorial for John on the front lawn of the school.
