TODAY’s ANNOUNCEMENTS:

PLUS MEETING:   TODAY ‐ Monday, December 5th at lunch in Mr. Rowan’s classroom.

SENIORS, JOSTEN’S WILL NOT BE HERE ON DECEMBER 6TH!   Rescheduled for Tuesday, December 13th in the library from 12:07‐1:40. This will be the last day to order your cap and gown before the price increase.

LATINO CLUB MEETING:   Room 302 @ lunch on Tuesday, December 6th.  It’s a potluck, bring something to share with club members!

TENNIS END‐OF‐SEASON GATHERING: Wednesday, December 7th at 7 PM.   We will be having a Cookie Exchange!  Bring your uniform, cookies and a plate to take home cookies! Contact your coach for more info!

CSU PLACEMENT TESTING on Wednesday, Dec. 7th :  English Placement Test will begin at 8:15 AM in room 210.   Math ELM will begin at 10:17 in room 210.  Bring your completed registration form & a check/money order payable to ETS for $18 (one test) or $36 (both tests)

INTERACT MEETING:  Interact meeting Thursday, December 8th in Mrs. Greene’s.  Hope to see you there!

DID YOU TAKE THE PSAT?  You will need a College Board account to access your scores next week.  Create your account at www.collegeboard.org  to easily see and share your scores with Khan Academy for a customized SAT study plan. Mrs. Andersen will be facilitating “understanding your PSAT scores” as follows:  A – K Wednesday, 12/14th  L – Z Thursday 12/15 during Home Room in Room 202 – set up your College Board before by 12/14!

LIONS CLUB SPEECH CONTEST!  It’s that time of year again!  Win CASH prizes for delivering your best speech on this year’s topic:  Is the Right to Privacy a Threat to Our National Security? All speakers earn cash and the winner moves on to compete at different levels for more cash prizes!  Speak your mind and gain valuable public speaking experience.  See Ms. Helfrich Holland before 12/9 for more details.

CSF:  See Guidance to volunteer for The Railroad Express at Laws on Dec. 10th  AND don’t forget the Michelson Scholarship Application is due on 12/22 (www.csf.cjsk.org/michelson).

SPIRIT WEEK will be December 12th  – 16th!  Monday (12/12): Pajama Day; Tuesday (12/13): America Day; Wednesday (12/14): Bronco Blue Day; Thursday (12/15): Camo Day and Friday (12/16) will be Ugly Sweater day! Show your Bronco Spirit!

HOLIDAY RAFFLE!  Looking for that unique gift for that special someone?  Check out the lighted trees in the main office and go see Mr. Wickersheim in the wood shop to buy a chance to WIN one tree!  $1 or 6 for $5.

IT’S TIME!  The Holiday Homeroom Door Decorating Contest will be held from Tuesday 12/13 to Friday 12/16.  Doors will be judged on Friday afternoon after homeroom. The winning class will receive a pizza party!

 DETENTION CLUB:  Tuesdays (Mrs. Helfrich Holland, room 206); Wednesdays (Mrs. Greene, room 209); Thursdays (Mrs. Gianopoulos, room 205); Fridays (Mrs. Tonseth, room 133) arrive no later than 3:20 PM.

 HOMEWORK HELP:  Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, in Mrs. Quintana’s room (207).  There is also a bus available at 4:30 for rides home for those who attend!

 SALVATION ARMY:  Come sign up to be a Salvation Army bell ringer in the guidance office. They need students 5‐7 every night and all day on Saturday’s.

 MOMS CLUB:  Christmas care packages pack, 6PM at the Bishop City Auditorium.  Help ship love from Bishop to our deployed service people!
