The Broncos Golf team headed down to Cal City this past Wednesday to compete in CIF Qualifiers against other golfers from Desert and Cal City. The team had an efficient day. With a low score of 82 from Junior Adam Kalk and 85 from Senior Stephan Poole, both golfers qualified for the Individuals tournament. Junior Corde Peeke shot an 87, Senior Reyna Narnajo and Junior Kobe Carpenter both broke eighty with two 89s. Junior Parker Pope shot a 99. All together, the team shot a 432. The cut-off for Division 2 qualifying was 440, so the Broncos successfully shot under by eight strokes. This wouldn’t be a Bronco Round-Up Golf article without The Riddler, who shot the lowest score of the meet with a 78. The Broncos are preparing for their CIF competitions in the weeks to come.
