Home Street Middle School and Bishop Union High School’s principal’s are switching roles next year. Both Principals announced the changes to their respective staffs Wednesday. Home Street Principal Derek Moisant will move to BUHS next fall and serve as principal while Dave Kalk will move from his position as BUHS principal to lead Home Street Middle School.

Kalk has been an administrator at BUHS since coming on board as Assistant Principal in 2010. Kalk took over as Principal at BUHS when Randy Cook moved to his current position with Inyo County Superintendent Barry Simpson. Moisant has previously served as Assistant Principal under Kalk at BUHS before moving to Home Street to take that principal position when Pat Twomey moved on to lead Palisade Glacier High School.

Bishop Union High School is currently looking to fill the assistant principal position.  This year Bob Church stepped in to help and now the position is currently filled by campus supervisor Juan Strutton.

Home Street Middle school’s assistant Principal is Anthony Hughes who started as assistant principal in the year of 2022. He currently still remains over at the Middle School as (AP).
