On March 15th, the High Desert League traveled to Bishop Country Club for the first golf match of the season. The weather took a bit of a turn later on in the afternoon, but remained nice enough to play a round of golf and finish the match. Broncos came out on top with an ending score of 571 Cal City, 583 Desert, and 417 Bishop. Adam Kalk shot a great game with an 81. Kobe Carpenter led the team with 78. Reyna Naranjo shot an 86, Stephan Poole shot an 84, Parker Pope shot an 88, and Corde Peek shot a 92. The only other person to come close to the Broncos was Chris Riddle from Desert. He tied Kobe with a score of 78. With the first match, first win in the books, the Broncos are set to travel to Ridgecrest and play the Burrows this Friday.
