End of CIF Season for Bronco Football

It was the first time the Broncos have made it to the second round of the CIF football playoffs since 2012, Broncos traveling to Firebaugh High School near Fresno. The Broncos fought hard throughout the entire game, however, they lost by a score of 39-28. Overall, the game was exciting to watch, and everyone who went had a great time. Coach Palu thanked the seniors for “making this a special season.” He was pleased with the team’s effort and how they supported each other. He said, “This loss is especially tough as it marks the end of our time together with this senior class.” The team was “working very hard to spend a couple of more weeks together,” as this is the last game of the season. Coach Palu thanks the Coaching Staff for their time and dedication to the team, as well as BUHS administration “for their support, especially Athletic Director Stacy Van Nest who has traveled with us these past two weeks.”

Coach Palu gave a huge thanks to all the parents and students who came out and supported the team throughout the entire season. Coach Palu said, “As a staff we’re excited for Bronco football, and we had very talented seniors who helped lay a strong foundation and are very excited for next year’s Bronco Football Team.”
