Over the weekend, Bishop Bronco Wrestling went on the road for their second tournament of the season. The seniors played at Silverado High School located in Victorville, California to participate in the Adrian Amaral Scholarship Tournament. The tournament consists of around fifty different schools from California battling it out for a scholarship prize to the winner. All of the senior wrestlers: John Drew, Carson Schmidt, Riley Powers, and Will Hennarty faced solid competition and all performed well. Will Hennarty placed 3rd at a weight of 170 pounds. The JV wrestlers played at Golden Valley High School, located in Santa Clarita, California. Mike Trejo and Blake Braeten both went 1-2. Kano Graves placed 8th. The Broncos Wrestling Team’s next match is this Wednesday, January 11th, at Kern Valley High School.
