Cora Van Nest is a senior here at Bishop Union High School.  Van Nest is a very active member of the Bronco family investing her time in the FFA program, Volleyball and the Broncoroundup.  


Cora has had a busy year being the FFA president. She ran for president because she was the most qualified candidate for the job after being the secretary, and historian in years passed. She has been in FFA all four years and is excited for this year. She has raised different animals including turkeys, pigs, and goats. Being her senior year she is sad her FFA journey is over, “ I am sad because I will not be doing anything ag related in college” said Cora.


Not only is she heavily involved in FFA, she is also a star volleyball player for the BUHS varsity team. She has had a great season, winning almost every game so far. She has been playing volleyball for a long time and is sad it is her senior year,  


“I might play intramurals in college but it is pretty sad not playing next year ” said Cora.


After high school VanNest plans to attend Utah State university and Major in English Education. She plans to follow in her mom’s footsteps and become a high school teacher.
