Bishop Union Highschool Track and Field traveled to McFarland Highschool to compete in the Gary Adams Invitational.

The track team took only a handful of runners but was satisfied with their outcome because many of the members achieved new Personal Records.

Sophomore Ashley Fitt placed third in the 800 with a time 2:36:81. She also placed fifth in the 1600 with a time of 5:54.57. Fitt also placed 3200 with a PR of 12:38.53

Senior Diego Honda won the 3200 boys race in a time of 10:03.08 and placed third in the 1600 meters with a time of 4:41.04.

Senior Braeden McGrale also set new PR’s in both Shot Put and Discus with 40’5″ and 94’10”.

Sophomore Joe Almeida jumped in Tripl Jump and Long Jump with lengths of 16’4″ and 33’8″.

Track and Field will be traveling to Carpenteria this weekend for another meet. They leave Friday 4/15 and come back Saturday 4/16
