Bishop Opens the League Golf Season with a Team Win

Wednesday Bishop played the First High Desert League Match of the season taking home 1st place. The match was hosted by California City with Desert and Imanuel Christian from Ridgecrest also participating.  Bishop easily out-scored the competition winning the match by a wide margin. 

As a team Bishop shot a 449, Desert 590, Immanuel Christian 682 and host California City shot 711.  Desert Freshman Chris Riddle has the low round of the day shooting a 4 over par 76. 

Individually the Broncos were led by Corde Peek who turned in the low score of the day for the Broncos turning in a 85.  Reyna Naranjo and Kobe Carpenter both shot 89 with Michael Boothe (91) and Conner Holland (95) rounding out the Bronco scores.  As a team the Broncos shot a 449 at the Tierra del Sol Golf Course in California City.  

Next up for the Broncos is another High Desert League match hosted by Desert High School. On March 29,2022 starting at 1:00pm.
