Students needing community service can help with Owens River Clean up on April 23rd.  According to a press release the Owens River Annual Cleanup is Saturday, 4/23 from 8am-Noon. Coffee and baked goods provided. Meet at the Northeast side of the metal footbridge at the Pleasant Valley Campground just Northeast of Bishop. Bring: gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat. Trash bags provided. Free lunch provided to all volunteers at 12 noon. There will be raffle prizes. Contact Chris Leonard (818-288-3271) the event coordinator if you have questions.
