Garces outmuscles Bishop in the second half ending the Broncos season.  Bishop Union High School boys Basketball played Garces High School Tuesday, February 15th in the CIF central section Division 4 playoffs.  Bishop held a narrow lead at the half, but Garces came back to win by a final score of 70-59.  

The game marked the final contest for five seniors.  Kenyon Piper, Jakob Redmond, Kayden Summerfelft, Yahir Diaz and Joseph Red Owl.  

Garces will now play East Bakersfield on Thursday, February 17th in round two.

Two other HDL teams advance in the Division 4 tournament, #1 seed Rosamond defeated Chavez 87-65, and #7 Desert defeated Mojave 58-42 formerly in the division
