The Bishop Broncos soccer team lost to Rosamond 3-2 Thursday night as the Roadrunners hand the Broncos their first loss of the season. The Bishop Broncos Boys soccer team opened up an early lead, but Rosamond stormed back to win a hotly contested game.  The two teams tied 1-1 in their first matchup played January 4th at Rosamond high school.

The first goal was scored by Hugo Santana early in the first half giving the Broncos a 1-0 lead.  The Roadrunners would put together 3 consecutive goals taking a 3-1 second half lead.  Bishop’s Juan David Sandoval Ying delivered an amazing long distance goal late in the second half pulling the Broncos to within striking distance, but time ran out with Rosamond coming out on top 3-2.

The loss puts Bishop a full game behind the Roadrunners in the High Desert League Standing.
