On Saturday, April 24th Sierra Burror ran in the Meet of Champions invitational at Arcadia High school. This meet was an invite-only meet for elite-level competition.  This meet allowed Sierra to set a new personal best in her time for the 3200 meters and to lower her school record from (10:57.99) to (10:54.19). Burror is a senior enjoying her final weeks as Bronco.

“I definitely know I can go faster, but after a string of bad races it felt good to put it all together again. And a PR is always something to celebrate! ” Says Burror when speaking about her performance.

When asked if there was anything that stood out to her at the meet and her race.

“Excitement to compete again, especially on the famed Arcadia track- where I’ll actually be toeing the line a week from now.” Says Burror “And also how impressive some of the other races were! (State leaders in every event) ”

Overall Sierra had a great time at the meet and is looking forward to her upcoming meets. Her next meets will be the West Coast Relays on May 1st in Clovis, Home Meet against Mammoth on May 5th, and then back at the Arcadia stadium on May 7th and 8th
