Bishop Tennis Fights Hard Against Rosamond

Bishop’s last home game was a strong effort to beat Rosamond, by playing a pro-set of 8 but we lost to a very close score of 5-4. However, all of the girls put out their best battle, and starting off the match were the singles players, Morgan Hosch, winning with a score of 8-0, and Lily Mcgrale, ending with a score of 8-3. Senior singles player, Sam Hess gives her best effort, but barely loses ending with a score of 4-8. Singles player, Cayley Dishion had a close one, but loses with a score of 7-9. Sophomore singles player, Tami Lee, dominates her match, ending with a score of 8-2. Kiley Beard, achieves victory, and winds her match with a score of 8-1.

Bishop’s doubles teams start with Molly Foster and Josie Dillard had a great set, but lose with a score of 5-8. Kailyn Boxley and Kira Baiano win their last home match as seniors, ending with a score of 9-7. Senior Madeline Tomasek and Ivy Means give it all they got, but hardly lose their match with a score of 4-8. Senior Evelyn Lopez, and junior Nora Cimino, fight hard but lose, ending with a score of 7-9.

 

Coach Patty addressed that “it was a close match that came down to the wire, but Rosamond won again by just one point 5-4,” but overall the team did a great job and played with their best effort. All of the matches were tremendously fought by both teams achieved magnificent wins. Bishop’s team plans to practice harder and win their next game.
