Bishop Tennis takes down Desert in a close match with an ending score of 5-4. Bishop’s number 1 singles player, Morgan Hosche starts off the game and wins with a score of 8-0, following up with Lily Mcgrale, our number 2 singles player, who dominates her match ending with a score of 8-1. Starting off the third singles match, Caroline Hagopian steps onto the court, winning her match with a score of 8-2, then our fourth singles player, Cayley Dishion fights hard, but barely loses with a score of 6-8. Continuing the winning streak, Sam Hess achieves a win, ending her match with a score of 8-6. Finally, our sixth singles player, Kiley Beard finishes off the singles game with a score of 8-3.

Beginning doubles, Bishop’s number 1 doubles team, Josie Dillard and Molly Foster, put up a tough battle, but lose with a score of 2-8. The number 2 doubles team, Ivy Means and Madeline Tomasek, barely lose with a score of 6-8. Ending the game with Bishop’s number 3 doubles team, Evelyn Lopez and Nora Cimino, also end with a score of 6-8.
Coach Patty was pleased with the game and was very proud of the girls for playing with their best effort, and supporting each other throughout the game. Bishop will be playing Rosamond and Kern Valley in further games, and the team is very excited to play against these teams, and hope to achieve more triumphs.
