In the face of a global pandemic, the Bishop Broncos are preparing for a baseball season. The Bishop Broncos are preparing for this baseball season even though there are restrictions due to the pandemic. The delayed season is set to begin with an away game on April 21st against the Lone Pine Eagles.  

Head coach Steve Omohundro is hoping to get a good season and to get at least 7 to 9 games.

“We can only hope the season will be longer next year.” Coach Omohundro said,” I do believe it will be a full season next year.”

Due to the pandemic, only two immediate household members are allowed to the games of the athlete.  

Both the Junior Varsity and the Varsity teams were practicing together for about 5 weeks and they have finally split into two teams. 

“I am looking forward to sending off our seniors in the best way we can, and that will include being covid league champs 2021.” said coach Omohundro,” I am disappointed that this team was not given the chance to prove themselves in division 5 central section championships this year. I believe they would have had a great shot at another championship run.”
