The Broncos Beat Bobcats in Huge Game

The Bronco boys entered Friday tied for first place in the HDL with their league rivals Rosamond, and they were looking to keep it that way with a victory over the Boron Bobcats. The Bobcats brought home 2 more runs in the top of the 4th, but the Broncos knotted it up at 5 in the bottom of the inning, thanks to a little help from Senior Michael Kubiak who had a big day. The Broncos shut down the Bobcat offense in the top of the 5th and followed it up by plating 2 more runs in the bottom of the inning. After a scoreless 6th on both sides, the Bobcats had a big chance to bring home some runs and ties the game up, but thanks to some clutch pitching from Sophomore Landon Kruse, the Broncos were able to hold them to one run before recording the final out of the game, ending with a final score of 7-6.
