Mckenzie Rae Riggs: Future

McKenzie Riggs is a graduating student of the class of 2019. She holds many titles here at Bishop Union High School. One of her proudest title being the Vice President of the Bishop FFA and in past years have served as sentinel and treasurer.  She enjoys her leadership role within FFA as she likes being able to take this leadership role to make it possible to help other FFA members become more motivated as well as it has taught her how to lead with confidence. As well as confidence.

She is headed to Boise State in Idaho she plans on studying Kinesiology because of her own past experience with a knee injury, so learning how to help those who have gone through similar things such as her interest her. Her ultimate goal is a physical therapist after college.

Although Kenzie has loved living in her beautiful town she’s “enjoyed being able to grow up with everyone and {has} loved exploring different places that are so close.”  and even more so has loved being able to spend time with her friends and go on amazing adventures with them. She will also miss the beautiful mountains she wakes up to every morning and having everything so accessible to her. Although as much as she loves her town she is ready to leave behind the hot weather.

She is excited though to be moving to Boise to start a new life and gain knowledge. Although she is known for her wonderful participation in school programs and spectacular grades she is also known for her love of Post Malone and her collection of 45 chapsticks and growing. Her love of music and art has brought her much joy and she wants to leave you with the quote by Vincent Van Gogh “I feel there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people”.
